Fourth of July Brownie Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

An all American Fourth of July party is all about celebrating the birth of our country, eating lots of delicious foods and getting together with friends and family. Traditional hot-off-the-grill items like hamburgers and hot dogs are served alongside southern favorite side dishes like potato salad, Old Fashioned Corn Bread and Spoon Bread. This holiday meal always ends with a bang. Indulge in our Byrd Mill Brownie Cake with Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting while watching fireworks. Topped with red, white and blue, this festive dessert is beyond delicious!

Brownie Ingredients:

I package Byrd Mill Milk Chocolate Brownie Mix
2 eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth and creamy. Pour into a greased 8 x 12 x 2 baking dish and bake in a 350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients:

8 ounce cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder

Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla. Add sugar 1 cup at a time and beat well after each addition. Add cocoa powder. Spread over the cooled brownie cake.

*Can be decorated with blue and red icing, ripe red strawberries and blueberries or left plain.
